The birth anniversary of Prophet Spitaman Zarathushtra (Zoroaster), who founded Zoroastrianism, is celebrated as Khordad Sal. It falls somewhere in the month of August or September, on the sixth day of the first Parsi month of Farvardin. The exact year of Zarathustra's birth is not known, but it is generally accepted that he was born in the beginning of the first millennium BC. Similarly, the day of his birth is also not precisely known, and the fixing of Khordad Sal as his birthday is symbolical. The religious lore and texts of the Parsis mention the festival and its importance.

A group Sedreh Pooshi - Navjote - was held in St.Petersburg on Vahman-Rooz (day) of Mehr-Mah (month) in 3748.

Sedreh Pooshi was organized by Bozorg Bazgasht Org. in cooperation with Zarathushthrian Association of St.Petersburg and Zarathushthrian Association of Moscow.

New Behdins from Iran, Moscow and St.Petersburg participated in the initiation ceremony to join Zarathushthi religion.

The trip to India prior of a community Michael Chistjakov has ahead of schedule come to the end. During visit it met Pavel Globa, with the Moscow scientists studying Iran and zaratushtrian of Moscow and Petersburg . From July, 6 till July, 8th he has visited St.-Petersburg.

On July, 6th ritual of Dzhashan has been spent, on July, 7th the dear visitor at a meeting has answered questions on zoroastrizm, on July, 8th had a rest in city suburbs, has visited ballet «Swan lake».

On March, 21st the zoroasrian group has gathered for solemn celebrating of new year - Navruz.
